I was logged in to the same account on a different phone. I remember being given the Reddit backup codes at the time of enabling 2-FA, but I don't remember if I saved them or not. I used to backup everything from that phone to a cloud (Google), but I am pretty confident those accounts don't get backed up. I reset and erase all data from my phone and as a result, all the accounts in Authenticator app are now gone. So every time I wanted to log in, I had to enter my username, password, and the code from the Authenticator app. I turned on 2-factor authentication for my Reddit account using the Google Authenticator app.
